Ingredients:

  • 3 cups warmed chicken stock (Homemade or store bought)

  • 1 cup orzo pasta

  • 2 tbsp onions chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic minced

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan

  • salt and pepper to taste

Method:

  • Heat oil in skillet over medium heat

  • Add and cook the garlic and onions till translucent and fragrant

  • Add 1/2 tsp salt/pepper

  • Add  the orzo and mix well

  • Add the warmed stock and simmer until al dente chewy but not runchy about 8 minutes or per box directions

  • Add the parmesan and mix thoroughly till incorporated and melted

  • Garnish with green onion or parsley
