Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp shredded parmesan

Method

  • Preheat oven to 450F/230C

  • Peel off wilted leaves or any gone bad

  • Wash and rinse and dry

  • Cut off the stems and discard

  • Cut sprout in half, larger ones in thirds. place in a bowl

  • Toss in olive oil to coat sprouts

  • Add spices and toss

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil

  • Place sprouts cut side down any leaves fall off add them to the pan

  • Bake for 15mins and flip over sprouts return to oven until slightly charred

  • Garnish with shredded parmesan
