Ingredients:

  • 2 cups macaroni noodles

  • 2 cups grated cheese

  • 1 cup half & half, milk ok

  • 3/4 cup onions minced

  • 3 cloves garlic minced

  • 1/4 cup beer

  • 1 pound ground beef 80/20 preferred

Method:

Noodles:

  • In a pot heat 6 cups salted water to a boil

  • Add Macaroni, cook 8-11 minutes until "Al Dente"

  • Drain the water and add noodles back to the pot

Ground beef:

  • Heat a skillet to medium high heat with 2 tsp olive oil

  • Add ground beef begin to brown

  • When well broken up add garlic and onions continue to cook until browned

  • Drain excess fat

  • Add the beer and cook out alcohol about 2 mins

  • Combine the ground beef with the noodles and mix well

  • Add all of the cheese and mix well

  • Add half of the cream/milk 

  • Heat skillet to medium low, just enough to melt cheese

  • Add remainder of milk and mix well until cheese melted and 10 minutes to let flavors incorporate

  • Season with salt and pepper
