Method:

  • 1 cup uncooked white rice any type

  • Clean hands and rinse rice with tap water then drain

  • Repeat approximately 3 times until rice waterb is only slightly cloudy then drain

  • Barely touching the rice with your index finger, add tap water to first knuckle line of your finger

  • Heat with Medium to High heat until water begins to lighly boil

  • Cover with a lid and reduce heat to lowest setting

  • Halfway through stir the rice to ensure none is sticking to the bottom of the pot

  • When the water is all absorbed and removce from heat and fluff with a fork

  • Rest for 5 minutes and serve
