Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound shrimp, not frozen, deveined and shell on preferred

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Method:

  • Place shrimp into a medium mixing bowl

  • Add salt, pepper, garlic powder

  • Toss/mix well

  • Pour shrimp into a ziploc bag or coverable plastic container

  • Add the mayonnaise

  • Mix well until all shrimp are generously coated with the mixture

  • Refrigerate until grilling

Grilling:​

  • Using tongs, place shrimp onto a hot grill.

  • It's best to put the shrimp in lines on the grill as they cook very quickly

  • You want a slight char and a pink to reddish color on the shrimp

  • About the time you place your last shrimp on the grill it will be about time to go back and turn the shrimp over to cook the other side

  • Cook time is approximately 2 mins per side, looking for slight char and pink to reddish color
