Ingredients:

2 cups cold rice

1 tbsp garlic minced
- 1 tbsp onion minced

1 tbsp butter
-
1/2 tbsp green onion
-
2 tsp salt
-
2 tsp pepper
-
1.5 tsp olive oil or vegetable oil

1 tsp soy sauce
Method:

Heat wok or non stick pan to medium high heat

Add the oil

Add the butter
-
When butter and oil bubbling
-
Add the garlic
-
Add the onions
-
Cook until fragrant and starting to brown just a little bit

Add the cold rice
-
Use a spatula or wooden spoon to blend everything together

The heat should be medium high, enough to hear a bit of a sizzle
-
Continue to cook and blend in the garlic onions and and allow the rice to absorb the oil butter mixture

Add the soy sauce
-
Continue to blend the mixture
-
Cook until the rice begins to slightly brown and the oil and butter has been absorbed and cooked into the rice
-
Garnish with green onion
