Meet The Chef
I'm Phil Spencer, welcome to "The Household Chef. "
I've lived in Paris, London, Brussels, Honolulu, New York, Los Angeles as well as many other cities in the U.S.
In Europe, dining is a social event with the culinary aspect being the centerpiece. I wanted to bring that practice into my home, and it was my inspiration to attend culinary school in Los Angeles. French methods and techniques were the focal point of the Chef Program. It was there that I learned how to "take it up a notch."
As a long-time pilot for a major airline. I use the benefits of my international layovers to take classes and sample fine foods from around the world.
